High School Apprenticeship Program
This High School Apprenticeship Program offers public high school students
from New York City a challenging program of study and work at the Museum.
After an extensive spring training, Apprentices work full-time during
the summer and are introduced to the curatorial, educational, administrative,
and operational sides of the Museum. The summer apprenticeship also includes
film screenings, field trips, and leading tours for summer youth groups.
Apprentices are paid for their participation in the program. Students
of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Lipper Intern School Partnership Program
The Lipper Intern School Partnership Program provides the opportunity
for public middle and high schools to have a Museum Intern enhance their
student's curriculum with a three-part introductory Holocaust education
program. Our college interns conduct a pre-visit session in the classroom,
guide the students through the Museum where the students learn first hand
from our exhibitions, and follow up with a post-visit session in the classroom.

The cost of admission, transportation, and workbooks for a limited
number of partner schools each semester, is covered by a generous grant
from the Gruss Lipper Foundation.
