COMING UP IN OCTOBER
- Jews in Vichy France - Professors Michael Marrus and Robert O. Paxton will provide historical context for the time period in which Nemirovsky and other Jews of France lived during World War II on October 26.
- Soulfarm and Moshav Band - The two popular contemporary Jewish bands will play on October 29.

- Irène Némirovsky and the Jewish Question - Ruth Franklin of The New Republic, Harvard University professor Susan Suleiman, and others will discuss the complex author on December 8 .

- The Life of Irène Némirovsky - Biographer Olivier Philipponat will discuss new research about the author's life with Deputy Director Ivy Barsky on Wednesday, November 12 at 12:30 p.m.
- The Rosenblatt Forum: Jews Living in Arab Lands - This year's symposium will include Dr. Robert Satloff, Andre Aciman, Lucette Lagnado, and Resa Aslan. Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m.
- The Journal of Hélène Berr - Join us for the New York book launch of this French bestseller on Wednesday, November 19 at 7 p.m.
- Defiance - This is a special film screening for members only. To become a member call 646.437.4334. Reservations will be required. Sunday, November 23 at 1 p.m.
- The Holocaust By Bullets - Father Patrick Desbois will discuss his book about Jews in Ukraine on Sunday, November 23 at 7 p.m.
- Inheritance - Join us for a special screening of a documentary about the daughter of Amon Goeth and her struggle with the knowledge of her father's crimes on Monday, December 1 at 7 p.m.
- The Lost Spy: An American in Stalin's Secret Service - Author Andrew Meier will discuss his new book about the true story of Cy Oggins on Wednesday, December 3 at 7 p.m.
- Fabrik: The Legend of M. Rabinowitz - The acclaimed puppet drama comes to the Museum on Sunday, December 7.
- The Zookeeper's Wife: A War Story - Author Diane Ackerman will discuss her new award-winning book on Wednesday, December 10 at 7 p.m.
- Challah-lujah: The Tradition Continues - Joshua Nelson returns for the fourth year. Special guests Frank London and Cissy Houston will join him on Thursday, December 25 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
